ENA MORI
Inspired by the ethereal sounds of Dream Pop and the avant-garde nature of Art Pop prevalent in the late 80s to early 90s, ena mori has emerged as a sonic visionary, captivating audiences across Asia with her criminally distinctive sound. Her music, a mesmerizing fusion of classical nuances and contemporary flair, resonates as a testament to her eclectic influences.
The pinnacle of her success began with the release of her debut album, “DON’T BLAME THE WILD ONE!” The album not only secured the coveted No.1 spot for NME Asia’s Best Album of the Year 2022 but also earned a stellar 5-star rating. A review aptly described it as “a triumphant rallying cry for the dejected, filled with pop hooks that reach for the stars.”
The album also received local recognition through the prestigious music award-giving body, Awit Awards 2023, hailing it as “Album of The Year”.
In 2024, recognition for Ena Mori was still on the rise especially when Billboard PH honored the singer the “Rule Breaker of The Year” title for their eagerly anticipated annual event: Women In Music, emphasizing her unabashed self-expression through style and music is what makes her stand out.
Ena Mori further displayed her prowess of dominating the global platform by performing at Clockenflap Hong Kong 2024, making history for being one of the first stages she performed her new song at the time called “Funny”.
At the very start of 2025, Ena Mori has once again made waves by opening for AURORA in Manila. This marked as the Norwegian singer’s first-ever tour in the country, and Ena Mori made the night more magical by opening it with fellow whimsical artist, Yaelokre.
